TVT and GVT Ratings of Indian Television Shows

Star Plus continues to be the chart topper with 748 million GVTs compared to last week’s 702 million GVT. The jump of 46 million GVTs helped the channel widen the gap between itself and the closest competitor, Zee TV.

Star Plus is enjoying its reign as the number one general entertainment channel (GEC). This week again it touched the 700 million GVTs mark as it recorded 702 GVTs, a huge rise from last week’s 687 GVTs.

'Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara' gets extension

Sony Entertainment Television was supposed to end up 'Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zara' on April 24. The male lead Ruslaan Mumtaaz has announced on Twitter that the show has got the extension and will continue for a few more episodes. Ruslaan tweeted, "Guys all your constant messages and tweets to Sony has really made an impact. We've got an extension."

Ruslaan says "It's not a long extension. We have been told that we have to shoot for 10 more episodes. We have been asked to keep our dates free and not take up any new projects for some time. There is still no clarity about a longer extension."

Low TRP Ratings Results 'Mad In India' to End Before Time

From dipping TRP Ratings to the news of host Manish Paul quitting the show, nothing seems to be going right for Sunil Grover's show Mad In India. According to the latest report, Mad in India may end even before due time because of low TRP Ratings. "It was commissioned for 28 episodes, but it may wrap up within 13 episodes," says source.

After quitting Comedy Nights With Kapil, Sunil Grover started his show in February changing his role to Chutki. Telly TRP reported earlier about celebrity guests are not interested in appearing on the show.

Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ to Air from 15 April replacing ‘Pavitra Rishta’

Known for making shows that are women-centric, the pivotal characters of this new show are a bunch of strong, feisty women, living together in an all-female, matriarchal family.

TVT and GVT Ratings of Indian Television Shows

Star Plus has seen a major drop of 78 million GVTs in its ratings in week 12. Despite witnessing a drop in its viewership Star Plus continues to lead the TRP chart with 649 million GVTs, down from 727 million GVTs in the week earlier.

Satyamev Jayate’s cumulative reach for the first three weeks now stands at 9 crore viewers.  The show recorded 5,720 TVTs in week 3 in all India (All 4+, All India) and a HSM TVT of 5,045 (All 4+, HSM).

Devesh Ahuja bags a new role in Life OK's The Adventures of Hatim

Child actor Devesh Ahuja, well popular for his little Baldev character in Star Plus’ Ek Veer Ki Ardaas - Veera bags a role of a little prince in Life OK's The Adventures of Hatim.

The young talented kid was recently seen on Channel [V]’s Sadda Haq – My Life My Choice playing the younger version of Parth.

Devesh will appear in Nikhil Sinha’s The Adventures of Hatim on Life OK. He will be playing the role of Rustom, the 10 year old prince who is on the lookout for his father. he will be in search of a murthi which will rescue his father.

No Celebrities Interested to Appear on Mad In India

Telly TRP exclusively reported about Sunil Grover's 'Mad In India' To Go Off Air Soon, It is likely to be replaced by the upcoming music show judged by the youth sensational rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh.

'Mad in India', which started high in news before release has failed to appeal the audience, Star Plus' decision to wrap up the show has not come as a surprise. Fan base of the genre has rated it the poor version of Comedy Nights with Kapil. Even the actors associated with the show is not happy with the way it is heading.

Abhishek Sinha Wins Boogie Woogie Kids Championship Finale

The stage was set last night for the finale of Boogie Woogie Kids Championship and the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan himself came up on stage to announce the winner.

And when the time came for the announcement, the legendary superstar, who was on the show to promote his film Bhootnath Returns, was all smiles to declare his son’s namesake Abhishek Sinha as the winner of the championship.

Pointing out to the kid that he already has his blessings, thanks to the name given to him by his mother, the Shahensha congratulated the little superstar on his win.
